Goalie Ejected After Defending Himself From Drunk Fan

During a Dutch soccer game, AZ Alkmaar’s goalie, Esteban Alvarado, was attacked by a drunk man that ran onto the field. After catching a flying kick to the stomach, the drunk was dropped to the ground, then received a few more kicks for his trouble. After all of this, the goalie, Esteban, was shown a red card and ejected from the game. After an understandable angry reaction from Esteban and his teammates, the coach walked his entire team off the field in protest of the ejection. With no team to play against, the game was ended.
